I recently stayed at Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku for four nights, and while the location was fantastic, the room size was a bit of a letdown. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed the breakfast, but the amenities in the room were somewhat dated. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're looking to be close to the action! 😊

Rooms
7.0
The room was small for two adults, with two single beds that were kept in immaculate condition. However, opening luggage was a challenge due to limited space.
Service
8.0
The staff were very friendly and provided fresh amenities daily, even without requesting housekeeping, which I appreciated.
Location
10.0
The location couldn't be better—only a minute's walk to Nishi-Shinjuku Station and a short stroll to the bustling Shinjuku area. Plus, there's a Family Mart and 7-11 nearby.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed the breakfast, though choices were limited, the food was great! It would have been nice to have a clearer menu for lunch too.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offers solid facilities, including housekeeping and laundry services, but everything from the lamps to the mattress felt a bit old.

5.0/10

I recently stayed at the Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku for a five-day stopover in Tokyo. The location was fantastic, just across from the Nishi Shinjuku metro station, making it easy to explore the city. While the room was on the smaller side, it was clean and comfortable. There were some minor issues with the cleaning service, but overall, the staff were friendly and helpful. I'm already planning my next trip to Japan, and this hotel will be my first choice again! 😊🇯🇵

Rooms

The Deluxe Double Room was clean and comfortable but small for my needs. I could only open one suitcase at a time. The amenities provided varied, but there were some disappointments in the cleaning service regarding replenishments.
Service

The staff were very friendly and eager to assist. They helped with my breakfast choices and answered all my queries promptly. They also stored my luggage before check-in and after check-out, which was super convenient.
Location
10.0
The hotel is located right next to the Nishi Shinjuku metro station, making it very convenient to travel around Tokyo. I enjoyed the local area as it had many food options within walking distance.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast buffet was good, offering both Western and Japanese options. However, I would have loved to see more dietary choices available, especially for those with specific needs.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel provided essential amenities and had dry cleaning services available. However, the laundry facilities could use improvement, as there weren't enough machines for guest use.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku, enjoying its clean and cozy atmosphere. The location was fantastic, allowing easy access to the metro and a short walk to Shinjuku's vibrant areas. However, the mattresses were a bit hard for my liking, which made it challenging to get a good night's sleep at times.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and equipped with essential amenities like a TV and a fridge. While it was decent in size, it felt a bit cramped, especially with luggage. The bathroom was convenient and included quality toiletries, enhancing the stay.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and effective in communicating in English, which was a big help. They provided fresh amenities daily, contributing to the overall comfort of my stay.
Location
10.0
Located just a short walk from both Nishi-Shinjuku subway station and the bustling heart of Shinjuku, the hotel's positioning is one of its greatest assets, making it easy to explore the city.
Dining
7.0
Although I didn't utilize the dining options extensively, I noticed a few small restaurants on the hotel that seemed inviting and provided a variety of meals for guests.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offered good facilities, including laundry services and air conditioning. The atmosphere was easygoing and well-maintained, although the hallways could benefit from some updates.

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku, enjoying its closeness to public transport and the vibrant Shinjuku area. My room offered decent size for Tokyo, although a random round table took up some space. I encountered a few minor issues with staff advice during a typhoon, but overall, the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was reasonably spacious by Tokyo standards, though an oversized round table cluttered the space. Amenities like a fridge and modern bathroom were greatly appreciated.
Service
7.0
The service was generally good, with friendly staff who spoke enough English. However, I wished they had provided more proactive assistance during challenges, like dining options during the typhoon.
Location
9.0
Location-wise, the hotel was perfect—just a short walk from Shinjuku Station and conveniently near the subway. It offered a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle and bustle.
Dining
7.0
I dined at the attached Garden Restaurant, and while the menu was confusing, the food was enjoyable. Prices felt a bit high, but the selection was decent across the hotel's restaurants.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were comprehensive, with available laundry services and clean public areas, though the hotel had a slightly dated look. The air conditioning worked well, keeping my room at a comfortable temperature.

My stay at Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku was quite enjoyable, thanks to its fantastic location and friendly staff. It was just a short walk from Shinjuku Station, making it a breeze to explore the city. However, the room was a bit small for my taste, which did take away from the overall experience.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and tidy, though on the smaller side. I appreciated the comfortable beds, which made my stay more pleasant, but I did feel a bit cramped at times.
Service

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I even received a thoughtful welcome gift set that included a small sewing kit. Their service really added a personal touch to my visit.

While I didn't dine extensively at the hotel, I found plenty of barbecue and grill restaurants nearby, along with convenient snack options from 7-11. The convenience of dining options nearby was great.
